What is the difference between G70, G80, and G90?

G70

The G70 leans more towards the compact end of the Genesis sedan lineup, offering drivers plenty of power and tech, as well. The new model year of the Genesis G70 offers Cypress, TX area drivers a handful of new features, otherwise it's pretty much a carryover from the previous model year. The latest iteration of the Genesis G70 makes LED headlights standard across all trim levels and also adds a few new features to the Elite package. The Elite package includes a Lexicon audio system, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, front/rear parking sensors, and a power-adjustable steering column. Houston drivers can look forward to two powertrain options, with a base 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 variant (252 horsepower/260 pound-feet of torque) coming standard. The Woodlands drivers searching for a more powerful engine can look to an available 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 option, which makes 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. As far as the interior of the new G70 is concerned, Conroe drivers can enjoy standard features like Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and a standard bundle of driver assistance features. G80

The new Genesis G80 is a full-sized sedan that boasts a longer wheelbase and a slightly roomier interior than the G70. The G80 makes a host of changes to the previous model year, with an all-new exterior and interior design scheme slotting in as the biggest changes. Otherwise, the new Genesis G80 boasts a new camera-based adaptive suspension. Oh and the G80 offers up more powerful engine options than the G70. In its most basic configuration, the G80 is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that makes 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. If you're interested in more power, the new G80 features a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. The G80 offers up rear-wheel drive, available all-wheel drive, and pairs both engines with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The interior of the G80 offers The Woodlands drivers ample standard equipment to enjoy. The 2.5T Standard trim includes leatherette-trimmed seats, heated front seats, a premium 12-speaker audio system, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and a variety of driver assistance features. In comparison, the top of the line Prestige trim includes Nappa leather-trimmed seats, an Ergo motion driver's seat, heated front/rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, and a surround-view monitor. Standard driver assistance features are quite extensive, with the standard G80 coming outfitted with blind-spot collision avoidance system, adaptive cruise control, rear-cross traffic collision avoidance, and forward automatic emergency braking (with pedestrian/cyclist detection). Powering the standard trim of the G90 is a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that manages 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can also look forward to a 420 horsepower/383 pound-feet of torque 5.0-liter V8 engine. On the 3.3T Premium trim, Cypress, TX drivers can enjoy heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a 17-speaker Lexicon audio system, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display.
